Managing Director

Norman

Norman attended the University of British Columbia, majoring in Computer Engineering. A brief vacation to Hong Kong sparked and ignited his passion for teaching programming. Realizing both the potential and the lack of education in technology and programming, he founded a tutoring business and also began volunteering to teach on his spare time. As a Vancourite at heart, Norman has initiated Start Coding to spread coding to children here as well. To date, Norman has found much success in conveying complex concepts not just to students and children, but also to businesses, all in an understandable minimum.

Norman's words

"The paragraph up there summed it up pretty well about me...but why coding? Hmmm... Learning to code helps develope logical thinking; how to break down a problem, how to step-by-step formulate a solution. It gets the brain going. Plus, it's always fun to make something out of nothing. And I really believe that years from now, we'll be nagging our grandkids "How do I program this toaster?", just as how our grandparents asked us how to use the DVD player. Mark my words. Hahaha"
